This morning there is no new snow to report. At 5 a.m. mountain temperatures range from the low 20s to low 30s F and winds are blowing 15-30 mph out of the W-SW with ridgetop gusts pushing 50 mph around Hyalite and Big Sky. Today, temperatures will warm into the upper 30s to low 40s in the Bridger Range and low to mid 30s elsewhere. Winds will remain moderate to strong out of the W-SW. There is an increasing chance of precipitation today, mainly in the southern Mountains. Big Sky, West Yellowstone and Cooke City could see 1-2” by tomorrow morning.

Over the past 24 hours the mountains around Cooke City picked up 1” of new snow while the rest of the advisory area remained dry. This morning, temperatures range from the teens to mid-20s F under partly cloudy skies. Winds are blowing out of the W-SW at 15-30 mph with ridgetop gusts pushing 40 mph. Today will be warm and windy as a strong southwest flow pushes warm air into the region. Highs today will warm into the upper 20s to upper 30s F under partly cloudy skies and winds will remain moderate to strong out of the W-SW. No significant snowfall is expected over the next 24 hours.

Over the past 24 hours the mountains around Cooke City picked up 2-3” of new snow. The mountains around Big Sky and West Yellowstone picked up 1” while the mountains around Bozeman remained dry. At 5 a.m. temps range from the single digits to low teens F and winds are blowing 10-30 mph out of the W-SW. Today, there is little chance for accumulating snowfall and skies will be partly to mostly cloudy. Temps will warm into the mid-teens to upper 20s F and winds will continue to blow 10-30 mph out of the W-SW. No significant snowfall is expected over the next 24 hours.

In the last 24 hours 1-2” of snow fell in most mountain locations with 3” outside Cooke City. Winds are steady from the west at 15-20 mph with gusts of 40 mph last night. Under partly cloudy skies temperatures are in the low single digits. Today has increasing clouds, temperatures in the teens and snow showers starting later this afternoon. By morning there will be 1-2” around West Yellowstone and 3-4” near Cooke City.

The Bridger Range picked up 2” last night and a trace to 1” everywhere else. SNOTEL is not posting, so outside the ski areas snowfall amounts are an estimate. Under a mostly cloudy sky, temperatures are in the single digits and ridgetop winds are averaging 20 mph with gusts of 40 mph out of the W-SW. Today, snow showers will drop 2-3” in the mountains as winds shift more northerly and temperatures rise into the teens.

Since 4 a.m. yesterday the Bridger Range got 12-20” of new snow. The mountains near Big Sky got 2”, and 4-7” fell near West Yellowstone and Cooke City. Wind overnight was out of the southwest at 15-30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. Temperatures this morning are in the single digits F with west wind at 15-20 mph. Today, wind will be west-southwest at 5-15 mph with temperatures in the single digits to teens F. The mountains will get 2-4” of new snow by morning with a couple more near Cooke City.

The Bridger Bowl cloud is back for breakfast and might stick around today. At 7 a.m. the Bridger Range picked up 7” of snow in the last 2 hours. The mountains got 1-2” of snow yesterday after the Bridger Range got over 2 feet of classic cold smoke powder Friday night. Temperatures this morning are single digits above and below zero to low teens F. Overnight, west wind was 35-45 mph at Bridger and 15-25 mph with gusts of 40 mph elsewhere. Today, temperatures will be single digits to low teens F with west wind at 10-25 mph. Intermittent snow showers through tonight will add 3-6” by tomorrow morning with Ullr only knows how much in the Bridgers.

At 6 a.m. the Bridger Range has received 24” of classic cold smoke powder since yesterday morning, while the rest of the advisory area got 2-3” of low density snow. Temperatures range from below zero to low teens F. Yesterday, wind shifted from an easterly direction to west-southwest at 5-15 mph. Today, wind will be westerly at 20-30 mph with temperatures in the single digits to low teens F. By tomorrow morning the mountains will get another 2-4” of low density snow.

Since yesterday morning the mountains around Bozeman and Big Sky picked up 1-2” of new snow. At 5 a.m. temperatures are in the single digits under partly to mostly cloudy skies. Winds are blowing 5-10 mph out of the E-NE and SE. Today, highs will warm into the teens and winds will remain light and shift to a more westerly flow. Skies will remain partly to mostly cloudy and no real snow accumulation is expected today. There is a better chance for light snow showers tonight in the northern ranges which could see 1-2” by tomorrow morning.

Since yesterday morning, the Bridger Range picked up 5-7” of new snow and the northern Gallatin Range (Hyalite) picked up 10” of new snow. The mountains around Big Sky received 3-5” while the southern ranges squeezed out 1-2”. This morning, light snow showers continue in the mountains around Bozeman and temperatures range from the single digits to low teens F. Winds are blowing 10-30 mph out of the N-NE. Today, highs will warm into the low teens F and winds will remain light to moderate out of the N-NE. Light snow will continue and the mountains should see an additional 1-3” by tomorrow morning. East winds typically do not produce heavy amounts of snow, so any accumulation over the next 24 hours will be light.
