This wet snow avalanche was intentionally triggered by a ski patroller on a steep south facing slope on Lone Mountain. This slide is notable because it started as a small wet loose snow slide but quickly entrained more snow as it stepped down into facets at the ground. It deposited debris 2-4 ft deep. Photo - S.
